Visa: Sec 34 Firm Booked For 16l Visa Fraud | Chandigarh News

Chandigarh: UT police booked the staff of an immigration firm, private agents and other persons working with an immigration firm in Sector 34 of allegedly duping a person of Rs 16 lakh on the pretext of providing a study visa of the United Kingdom (UK). The accused provided the complainant type C-visit visa instead of study visa and he was turned back from Delhi airport. In his police complaint, Sukhdeep Singh, a resident of Sangrur, Punjab, said that he allegedly applied for a study visa of UK with Fly Right visa consultant, Sector 34 through agent Mandhir Bajaj in February. He allegedly paid Rs 16 lakh but was given a C-visit visa of the UK. When he reached Delhi airport he was told to return in July. tnn
