UK General Student Visa

You can apply for this visa if you are an international student.

To be able to apply for this visa, you need:
 

• To be at least 16 years old

• To have a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your sponsor

• To meet the maintenance requirements

• To obtain relevant consent from your parents if you are under 18 years old

• To have an offer to study on a course by a sponsor

• To meet the English language requirements

• To provide a clear tuberculosis test result (if applicable).

 

The period for visa will depend on the duration of the course and the age of the student.

 

It is possible to extend visa to continue studying in the UK. 
 

In addition, you can bring your dependent family members, such as your partner and children, if they meet all the eligibility requirements.
