UK Graduate Visa

A new route for international students was introduced in 2021 to allow them to remain in UK after they complete their studies.

A graduate Visa gives an opportunity for students to stay in the country and look for a job.

​

This visa is for international students who have successfully completed studies at an undergraduate level and already have a valid student visa, as this is needed to apply for a Graduate Visa.

​

Students applying for this visa will be eligible to stay in the country for up to 2 years.

As soon as an applicant finds a job, they will be able to switch to a Skilled Worker Visa.

To be eligible for a Graduate Visa, applicants must have either:

been in the UK for the whole study period if the course is 12 months or less

​

or

​

been in the UK for the final 12 months of their course, if it is over 12 months.
