The Start-up Visa is for people who want to start a business in the UK for the first time.

 

There are no requirements of qualifications or degree.

To apply under this category, you must meet three main requirements:

 

• The business idea must be innovative

• The business idea must be viable

• The business idea must be scalable

You must also meet the English language and maintenance requirements.

 
This visa is granted for only 2 years with no possibility to extend it. However, you can switch to Innovator Visa, which can lead to settlement one day.
